Pet Treat Launcher

A hand-held treat launcher for dogs, for training and reward-based games that need a consistent, repeatable throw.

Treat-based training relies on timing — the treat needs to land close to the behaviour you're rewarding, and tossing by hand gets inconsistent when a dog is mid-recall or across the room. A launcher gives you a repeatable way to reward from a distance without closing the gap and breaking the moment.

Load a treat into the barrel, aim, and press the trigger to release it. Because the throw comes from the same mechanism each time, distance is easier to predict than throwing by hand, which is useful for recall training or simply keeping a dog engaged during a session.

What size treats does it take? It's designed for small, dry training treats rather than large or soft ones, which can jam the mechanism.

Can I use it for cats? It's built with dogs in mind, but it works for treat-motivated cats too, provided the treat fits the barrel.

How far does it throw? Far enough to reward from across a room or a short garden distance; exact range depends on the size and weight of the treat used.

Is it safe to fire near my pet's face? Aim it the way you would any treat toss — towards open floor space rather than directly at your pet, so they can see and chase the treat instead of being startled by it.
