Mini Bag Heat Sealer

A compact, battery-powered heat sealer that seals open food bags shut to help keep contents fresh.

Once a bag of snacks, cereal, or pet food is open, clips and folding rarely keep it properly airtight, so contents can go stale faster than they should. A heat sealer melts the bag's own plastic together to form a proper seal along the open edge, rather than relying on a clip that can slip off.

Run the heated bar along the open end of the bag and hold it for a few seconds; the heat fuses the plastic layers together into a flat seal. It's small enough to keep in a kitchen drawer and runs on batteries, so there's no need to find a socket near the cupboard.

What types of bags does it work on? Standard plastic food bags such as crisp packets, cereal liners, and freezer bags; it won't seal paper or foil-lined bags.

Can I reopen a sealed bag? Yes — cut below the sealed line to reopen, then reseal further up the bag next time.

Does it work on thick bags? It's designed for typical thin food-bag plastic; thicker or multi-layer packaging may need more than one pass, or may not seal as cleanly.

Is it safe to use around children? The sealing bar heats up during use, so treat it like any small heat appliance — keep it out of reach while in use and let it cool before storing.
